Fórmula de Disputa

  • Todos os nove integrantes do Campeonato Mineiro de 1952 se enfrentaram em dois turnos. O campeão do primeiro turno enfrentaria o vencedor do segundo turno para definir o campeão estadual daquele ano. Em caso de empate em algum dos turnos no número de pontos, as equipes fariam dois jogos com o objetivo de conhecer o vencedor. Caso a mesma equipe vencesse os dois turnos, ela se tornaria a campeão automaticamente.
